Kelly Clarkson first showed her amazing physique as she performed on September 22, 2023, at Today’s Citi Concert Series and September 23, 2023, at the iHeartRadio Music Festival.

The former American Idol wore all-black outfits that emphasized her trim waist for both performances and her Instagram post surprised her fans.

The 41-year-old Since U Been Gone singer posted a picture to Instagram before her performance at the Prudential Centre in New Jersey. She looked considerably slimmer in the picture. Clarkson captioned the post, “Last night’s look at the @audacy @WeCanSurvive”.

The mom of two happily showed off her outfit for the yearly We Can Survive concert, organized by Audacy to support mental health. Fans loved her appearance and asked Clarkson to share her makeover secrets in the comments and on social media.

One user wrote, “She looks really good! Just like her days in American Idol.”

Recently, Kelly Clarkson opened up in an interview about moving to N.Y.C., her life after divorce and her weight loss journey.

Kelly Clarkson is starting a new life and a new look in the big city. She said, “I was very unhappy in L.A. and had been for several years. I needed a fresh start.” Clarkson credits their on-the-go activities for helping her get in shape. She said:

“Walking in the city is quite the workout, And I’m really into infrared saunas right now. And I just got a cold plunge because everybody wore me down.”

She continued:

“I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I’ve been listening to my doctor, a couple years I didn’t. And 90 percent of the time I’m really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway. I’m a Texas girl, so I like meat, sorry, vegetarians in the world!”

When she lost 40 pounds she talked openly about her journey. She attributed her change in eating habits to the book “The Plant Paradox” by Dr. Steven R. Gundry. She added that she did it for medical reasons:

“It’s basically about how we cook our food, non-GMO, no pesticides, eating really organic, I literally read this book, and I did it for this autoimmune disease that I had, and I had a thyroid issue, and now all my levels are back up. I’m not on medicine anymore because of this book.”
