Cindy Morgan Career Success
After Morgan graduated, she worked at a TV station in Rockford, Illinois, predicting the weather. She also worked the late-night shift at a local rock radio station. Later, she moved to Chicago and became a DJ at WSDM, leaving during a labor dispute with a record still playing on the turntable.
After that, Morgan worked for Fiat Automobiles. In 1978, she moved to Los Angeles, where she became the Irish Spring girl in ads while attending acting schools. In 1980, she got her first film role in the comedy Caddyshack, playing Lacey Underall.
She appeared in the 1982 hit Tron, playing two characters: Lora, a computer programmer, and Yori, her alter-ego in the film’s computer-generated scenes. Morgan has been in many TV shows and movies, like Falcon Crest, Matlock, The Larry Sanders Show, and others.
She was also an associate producer on five films. In 2009, Morgan lived in Florida, working on a book about her experiences making Caddyshack.
She didn’t take part in the sequel Tron: Legacy, and she didn’t appear in any related materials for its reissue in 2011. However, she reunited with her co-star Bruce Boxleitner for a mock news conference in 2010 promoting the release of Tron Legacy.
