Who is Michelle Zauner’s Parents?

Michelle Chongmi Zauner was born in Seoul, South Korea, on March 29, 1989. Her parents are Joel Zauner, an automobile salesman and Chongmi, a housewife. Her father is an American of Jewish descent and her mother is Korean.

After moving to Eugene, Oregon, when Zauner was nine months old, her family reared her there. When Zauner was a child, she spent most summers in Seoul with her mother and relatives.
