Monica Moore a beloved veterinarian and co-owner of “Sisters Vet Clinic” lost her life in a car accident on December 10, 2023 with her daughter Madison.
Monica was reared in Wichita, Kansas and devoted the last twenty years of her life to practicing veterinary practice. She graduated from Kansas State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine, where she also developed a strong enthusiasm for animal care.
Because of her dedication to her work, Monica and her sister co-own “Sisters Vet Clinic”. The clinic prospered under their direction and won awards as the Best of Wichita in 2022 and 2023. The warmth and compassion Monica possessed went well beyond her work.
Her skills of work won the hearts of her patients, clients and staff. Every place she entered was illuminated by her genuine compassion. Monica had a spirit of adventure and a goal to make people happy around her.
Monica will be known as a visionary leader who made a variety of positive effects on the lives of those around her as well as the lives of animals. She coached her children’ club volleyball team, mentored future veterinarians and showed steadfast devotion to her friends and family.
She was an innate leader because of her gregarious and feisty personality, setting an example for others and encouraging them to pursue their goals. Her commitment to being a devoted Christian was shown in her protective and compassionate demeanor.
She was a woman of great moral character as well as a superb veterinarian. The gap left by Monica’s death will be deeply felt by her surviving relatives and friends.
