American television journalist and newscaster Rebecca “Becky” Quick was born on July 18, 1972. She co-anchors the financial news programs Squawk Box and On the Money on CNBC.

As her father is a geologist, Quick grew up in Indiana, Ohio, Texas and Oklahoma. Quick was the chief editor of The Daily Targum while pursuing her BA in Political Science at Rutgers University in 1993. She received the Times Mirror Fellowship as an undergraduate from Rutgers’ Journalism Resources Institute.

She worked as a Wall Street Journal reporter covering retail and e-commerce issues before joining CNBC. She also assisted in the establishment of the newspaper’s website in April 1996. She oversaw foreign affairs coverage while working as the website’s international news editor.

She co-moderated the Republican presidential debate on October 28, 2015. Throughout her career, Quick has conducted interviews with some of the most significant investors and financial titans in the world such as Charlie Munger, Jamie Dimon, T. Boone Pickens, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett and Alan Greenspan.

In addition, she hosted the 2007 television documentary “Warren Buffett: The Billionaire Next Door Going Global” and conducted interviews with three US presidents.

Born on August 30, 1930, Warren Edward Buffett is an American investor, businessman and philanthropist. At the moment, he serves as Berkshire Hathaway’s chairman and CEO. Buffett is one of the most well-known investors in the world as a result of his extraordinary investment performance.

Despite his enormous riches, he is renowned for his thrift and devotion to the values of value investment. Buffett has promised to donate 99 percent of his wealth to charitable organizations, mostly through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
