Olivia Eskens, a 25-year-old woman from Lincoln, Nebraska, died in her apartment in New York City on February 12, 2023. She was known for being energetic, caring, and determined. Olivia graduated from Lincoln Pius X High School in 2015 and became interested in designing cosmetics during that time.

Olivia really loved science and space, and it was a big part of her life. She even named her pets Mr. Hubble and Spitzer after famous space telescopes. She had lots of relationships in Lincoln and New York, like her gymnastics buddies, sorority sisters, and a bunch of friends.

Olivia’s family includes her mom and dad, Mike and Kari (Jakub) Eskens; her brother and sister, Andrew and Adelyn Eskens; and her grandparents, Albin “Jake” Jakub, Jeanne (Jambor) Jakub and Marlene (Schmidt) Eskens.
She also has lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins who love her. Kari Jakub Eskens posted on Facebook and wrote,
“I imaging today Olivia would have been cooking up a storm in NYC and having all her friends over for an afternoon of eating and laughter. Miss you baby girl.”

Olivia Eskens Passing and Memorial
Olivia Eskens, who was 25 years old, passed away in her sleep at her apartment in New York City on February 12, 2023. The cause of her sudden passing has not been shared. Her family posted an obituary that doesn’t mention why she died.
