Frank Wycheck, born on October 14, 1971, was an American football player and radio host. He played college football at the University of Maryland and went on to have a successful 11-season career with the Washington Redskins and the Tennessee Titans.
Wycheck is best known for making the lateral pass in the Music City Miracle. Besides football, he also tried professional wrestling. After retiring from football, Wycheck worked as a color commentator for the Tennessee Titans Radio Network from 2005 to 2016.

Wrestling Match
On May 31, 2007, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling revealed that there was a disturbance during a press conference in Nashville involving Wycheck and James Storm. After Storm spat beer in Wycheck’s face, Wycheck, with Jeff Jarrett’s assistance, retaliated by hitting Storm with a guitar.
Following this incident, TNA Wrestling announced that Wycheck had tentatively agreed to face James Storm in a match at Slammiversary on June 17, 2007. The official confirmation of the match was posted on TNA’s website later that same day.
During Slammiversary, Wycheck teamed up with Jerry Lynn to defeat Storm and Ron Killings in a tag match. Wycheck secured the victory using Lynn’s finishing move, the Cradle Piledriver.
Broad Casting Career
In 2001, after finishing his football career, Wycheck had his show with George Plaster and Willy Daunic on WGFX 104.5 FM. Later on, he became a co-host on the morning show The Wake Up Zone with Kevin Ingram and Mark Howard on WGFX “104.5 The Zone.” Starting in the 2005 season, Wycheck took on the role of providing color commentary on the Titans Radio Network.
Before the 2017 Titans preseason, it was announced that Wycheck would step down from his commentary role due to ongoing head issues from his football days. Although initially expected to be temporary, Dave McGinnis took over for the 2018 season and beyond. In a related move, Wycheck also left The Wake Up Zone morning show in 2017.
