American professional ice hockey player Dylan Larkin was born on July 30, 1996 and he currently serves as captain of the National Hockey League’s Detroit Red Wings. The Red Wings selected Larkin with the fifteenth overall pick in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
Larkin played collegiate hockey for the University of Michigan, where he won the Freshman of the Year award, before becoming pro. In addition, he was chosen for the All-Big Ten First Team, All-Freshman Team and Second Team All-American.
