Why is YNW Melly in the Prison?
After firing rounds at three individuals close to Vero Beach High School, Demons was taken into custody on October 19, 2015, on three charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of discharging a handgun in public.
Demons was imprisoned for a year and then freed on probation. On January 3, 2019, Demons was once more taken into custody in Fort Myers for marijuana possession. Rappers YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy, two YNW associates who were reportedly his close pals, were shot and killed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in October 2018.
On February 12, 2019, Demons was charged with two counts of premeditated murder in connection with these incidents. Authorities claim that Demons planned to stage the double murders of Christopher Thomas Jr. (YNW Juvy) and Anthony D’Andre Williams (YNW Sakchaser), posing as victims of a drive-by shooting.
