When Was Gregory Furtado Funeral Services Held?
On December 6th, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, there was a visitation at the Cartmell-Davis Life Celebration Funeral Home, located at 373 Court St. (North) Plymouth. The next day, at 11:00 am, there was a Mass in St. Peter’s Church in 86 Court Street Plymouth. Below we shared a tweet related to his funeral services:

A Look at The Remarkable Journey of Greg Furtado
Gregory Furtado was a loving father to Sawyer and Everett Furtado and a faithful husband to Allison (Silveria) Furtado. On March 26, 1982, Greg was born in Plymouth. He was the son of Patricia A. (Manning) Furtado and the late Darryl E. Furtado, a Plymouth police officer.
Greg graduated in 2000 from Plymouth North High School and in 2004 from St. Anselm College. He was a brother of Rho Kappa Sigma, the Red Key Society, and a member of the St. Anselm Rugby Football Club. After completing the MPTC Academy in 2005, he was hired by the Nantucket Police Department.
After completing the Massachusetts State Police Academy in 2006, he was a trooper assigned to Troop D and afterward worked on the Community Action Team. After that, Greg became a member of the Cape and Islands State Police Detective Unit.
In July 2022, he received a promotion to Sergeant and rejoined Troop D to take up the role of Patrol Supervisor. Greg moved to the Narcotics Unit of the Cape and Islands in May 2023, where he was appointed Detective Sergeant—a role he had always desired.
Greg was always a hockey pro. He was a player for the State Police, St. Anselm College and the Plymouth North Eagles. His family was always his first priority, thus he was committed to his wife and kids. Greg’s favorite times were when he was coaching flag football and attending his kids’ athletic events.
This past October, Greg and Ali (his wife) commemorated their tenth wedding anniversary. As a trooper, he improved the lives of many people, and everyone who knew him will deeply miss him.
