He is a top prospect at wide receiver for the 2022 NFL Draft and plays for the Ohio State Buckeyes. In high school, he excelled in football and track and field at Steilacoom.
He received the Seattle Times All-State Offensive Player of the Year after catching 69 passes for 1,146 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior. In addition, his long jump of 25 feet, 3 inches set a new state record.

Emeka Egbuka was born to Henry Egbuka and Rhonda Ogilvie, who are of different races, on October 18, 2002, in Steilacoom, Washington. His father was born in Enugu in southeastern Nigeria and emigrated to the United States in 1996; he is of Igbo descent.
He was once invited to try out for the Nigerian junior national soccer team and is also a civil engineer. After that, I took up tennis and eventually reached the highest levels of competition. While Egbuka was born in Nigeria, his mother is American and a graduate of Saint Martin’s University in Lacey, Washington, where she studied management of information systems.
During her time at Steilacoom High School, she excelled in three different sports. She is currently working at Kaiser Permanente, a healthcare provider based out of Washington state, as the director of data and analytics. Keanan Egbuka is his younger brother. Moving to schooling, the 20-year-old entered Steilacoom High School, where he played football and excelled. He attributes his hard work ethic and dedication to achievement to his parents.

Emeka Egbuka Career
Egbuka has been a football player since he was a high schooler. As noted earlier, he was a great player in Steilacoom having a stellar record. He was named the 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year after an amazing junior year in which he caught 83 catches for 1,607 yards and 25 touchdowns.
The 2020 high school football season in Washington was moved to the spring of 2021, meaning he did not get to play a senior season. Despite being a five-star recruit and the best wide receiver in the country, he gave that up in January 2021 to pledge to the Ohio State Buckeyes. Not even Oklahoma and Washington could entice him to move there.

Egbuka was a fantastic baseball player before he switched to football. His friends and family expected him to give it his whole attention. He was there to compete for the national title at the 2011 All-Star Game in Phoenix.
Since he had previously won the MLB pitch Hit & Run competition, the Seattle Mariners invited him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch during a game in 2012. Egbuka comes from a long line of athletes, so competition is in his blood. As a result, they are always competing against one another, and not just in sports.
