Brenda Warner is the wife of Kurt Warner. Brenda was raised on a farm in Iowa after being born in Parkersburg, West Virginia. She is passionate about metal art and took up the craft later in life. She told:
“When I was getting ready to turn 50, my mom was killed at 50 years old, and so it was just so heavy on me thinking she didn’t get any more time than that, And I thought, ‘What would I do if I didn’t care what anybody thought?’ I realized that I always loved metal. I loved metal art, not having a clue how to make it.”
She continued:
“I went and watched somebody weld, went and bought all the equipment, and went home and taught myself. I love sharing it with people. It’s something that I didn’t know existed until this later part in my life.”
When Did Kurt & Brenda Warner Get Married?
Brenda met Kurt in the early 1990s while line dancing at a country western bar in northern Iowa. On October 11, 1997, Brenda and Kurt tied the knot at Cedar Falls, Iowa’s St. John American Lutheran Church.
They were joined by friends and family. It was poignant that they chose the chapel where Brenda’s parents were married. In 2021, Brenda posted a video of a young Zack singing “The Keeper of the Stars” by Tracy Byrd to Kurt during their wedding reception.
In an Instagram post commemorating their 22nd wedding anniversary in 2019, she wrote that their marriage has been made up of years of commitment, sacrifice, forgiveness love, laughter, trips, homes, teams, contracts, ER visits, meals and holidays. How Many Kids Does Kurt & Brenda Warner Have?
Brenda was married to Marine before she met Kurt and the two of them had two kids, Zachary and Jesse Jo. After Brenda and Kurt tied the knot, Kurt adopted Zack and Jesse Jo.
Five more children were born to the couple: twins Sierra Rose and Sienna Rae, Elijah Storm, Jada Jo and Kade. Additionally, the pair has two grandchildren. Brenda once captioned a family photo that included Kurt, all of their kids, and their grandkids, “My family. A beautiful mess.”

Brenda and Kurt previously co-wrote “First Things First: The Rules of Being a Warner“, a 2009 New York Times best seller in which they discussed parenting children, their relationship, their history and a host of other topics. According to The Oklahoman, Brenda was also scheduled to speak at the Women of Faith conference in 2011.
Treasure House Phoenix, an active living community for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, was inaugurated by Brenda and Kurt in August 2018. Kurt and Brenda are members of Treasure House’s board of directors and they often raise money for the organization by selling Brenda’s metal artwork.
