We are deeply saddened to share with you that Madison Mogen was killed in Moscow, Idaho on Nov. 13, 2022. She was a marketing major, a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and worked at Mad Greek restaurant. In this post, you will get all the information related to her murder.
Where Was Madison Mogen’s Memorial Services Held?
Madison Mogen was a 21-year-old senior when she was killed. She was one of four students at Idaho University who were killed a short time before Thanksgiving. The other victims were Ethan Chapin from Conway, Wash., Xana Kernodle from Post Falls and Kaylee Goncalves from Rathdrum.
A memorial service for all four pupils were held at Real Life Ministries on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. It was open to everyone who knew and loved Madison. On November 14, 2023, there was a vigil on campus to mark one year since Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin were murdered.

Who Killed Madison Mogen?
Bryan Kohberger, a graduate student at WSU has been charged with their murders after investigators discovered a knife sheath containing DNA. His arrest comes nearly seven weeks after their murders.

What Did Madison Mogen’s Boyfriend Say After Her Death?
After remaining silent for weeks about the horrific killings, Madison Mogen’s grieving boyfriend finally spoke up during a moving tribute in the village.
Jake Schriger said at the vigil in Post Falls, hometown of slain student Xana Kernodle, “None of these people deserved this.”
Schriger, who was acquainted with all four victims, related how he went on his first date at The Breakfast Club in Moscow at the age of twenty-one and how their acquaintance developed into love. Schriger said at the vigil:
“She was the first person I talked to every morning and the last person I talked to before bed, She was the person that I loved most.”
