What is Oladips’ Cause of Death?
The singer’s death was announced on his Instagram page by his management. His management team shared a statement on Instagram on Wednesday (Nov. 15) and said:
“We are saddened to inform the general public that Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka OLADIPS has passed away on Nov. 14 Tuesday evening at exactly 10:14 p.m. We are still in shock as we speak, For over two years he has kept his battles within himself, his body is now with his family and funeral services will be announced as soon as it is concluded!

The cause of death is unclear but the post read that the singer/rapper died after struggling with addiction for two years. The rapper’s death comes before the anticipated release of his album, SUPERHERO ÀDÚGBÒ (The Memoir) originally scheduled to arrive on Thursday, Nov. 16.
In February, Oladips replied to a fan tweet that begged for the record to be released. He said, “Out Here All Day In The Studio With My Sick Self, Rounding This Album Up Still! Just Came Online And I Saw This.”
Three days before his death was announced, the post was changed and edited to include the official title of the project.
