Because ethanol was found in his body, it was likely that he had been drinking before he died. An arrest warrant revealed that Millard was allegedly with two prostitutes identified as Tabbetha Barner and Tiffany Guidry when he died.

Derrick “Stanka” Perkins is accused of selling drugs and putting Millard’s body in the lot next to Scenic Highway without following the right procedures. He told police that on February 23, he picked up Millard and two other people who were looking for drugs.
He said that they drove around in his car for hours getting high on crack cocaine. Millard reportedly told the suspect that he wanted “white girls” so the two women were picked up. They are said to have started shooting up drugs with the Georgia man at a home on Lorri Burgess Avenue.
Millard’s debit card was also used by Perkins to buy other things before he smoked crack while waiting for the three of them to finish having s*x. He said Barner tried to revive Millard with Narcan, a drug used to stop an overdose before the group tried and failed to revive him with CPR and then dumped the body.
