Is Marilyn Mosby Married?
Marilyn Mosby was married to Nick Mosby, who is currently President of the Baltimore City Council. They got married at a religious ceremony in Boston in 2005. The duo have two daughters, “Anylin and Nylyn” who are minors. You can see her kids in a post provided below:
Nick Mosby a Northwood, Baltimore native does not have a law degree like his wife but has an electrical engineering degree from Tuskegee University.
Marilyn Mosby filed for divorce in July of this year amidst her re-election campaign which she lost. Mosby had asked for shared legal and physical custody of the couple’s kids.
Nick was supposed to keep paying for the kids’ health insurance and help pay for their extraordinary medical expenses and/or school and transportation expenses.
They both said in a joint statement earlier this year through the office of the City Council speaker what they had decided. It said:
“After careful consideration and much prayer, we have decided to end our marriage. We want to emphasize our commitment as strong co-parents moving forward. Our dedication to our family and community remains unwavering. We will not provide any further comments or interviews regarding the divorce proceedings at this time and ask for your continued respect for privacy, especially for our daughters.”
What Happened With Marilyn Mosby Recently?
Marilyn Mosby went to Dover-Sherborn High School which was an hour away from her home. She was in the Student Government Association and helped run the school newspaper.
After graduating from Tuskegee University with a B.A., she went on to get her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2005. Recently, Marilyn Mosby has been found guilty of two counts of perjury.
She was charged because it was said she took money out of a program meant to help people who were having money problems because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She said she hadn’t done anything wrong.
