How Did Spencer Stapf’s Death Affect His Family?
Spencer Stapf’s death deeply affected his friends and family members. On November 9, 2023, Kaity Buchanan his sibling shared a Facebook post to honor him in which he said:
“I have no words. Thank you for loving my cousin & being her person, embracing our wild family & being a voice of reason for us all, & being the most caring person who would go out of his way to do anything for anyone. I will miss holidays, baseball/hockey games, family road trips to Gulf Shores, & heckling you in the cousin group chat so very much. Your loss leaves a huge hole in this world. I will never understand why the best people are taken from this earth far too soon. I love you & will miss you so much, Spencer.”
Spencer departed from this life, leaving a loving and compassionate legacy as well as priceless memories. He have an unshakeable commitment to his family and community. Spencer’s kind demeanor and infectious grin won over everyone who had the honor of getting to know him.
His commitment made a lasting impression and many were inspired by his altruism. He frequently created enduring memories and relationships by sharing his pursuits with loved ones.

From Where Did Spencer Stapf Get Education?
Longtime resident of St. Louis, Missouri, Spencer Stapf graduated from Saint Louis University High School (SLUH), where he participated in the varsity basketball team, national honor society and Latin club. From 2015 to 2019, he studied at the University of Missouri–Columbia, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
Spencer Stapf was employed from 2014 to 2018 as a pro shop staff member at Arcis Golf and as a pool manager at Ventana Lofts. He was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi – Zeta Phi chapter in Columbia, Missouri, where he served as the Scholarship Chairman, the Communications Chairman and the President. In 2018, he interned at NISA Investment Advisors, LLC in the Greater St. Louis Area.
