Dawood, the son of Hussain Dawood, was born on February 12, 1975, in Rawalpindi, Pakistan and passed away on 18 June 2023 at the age of 48. Azmeh Dawood and her humanitarian sister Sabrina Dawood were his sisters. Abdul Samad Dawood was his brother.
His paternal grandfather, Ahmed Dawood, established the family company, Dawood Group, and was a well-known Memon entrepreneur. Shahzada attended Aitchison College for his early schooling. He graduated from Philadelphia University (now Thomas Jefferson University) with an MSc in global textile marketing and an LLB from Buckingham University.
