Where You Can Watch Taylor Sheridan’s Lawmen: Bass Reeves?
You can watch the series on Paramount Plus. The first two episodes were released in the US overnight on November 5 and were accessible all day.

- Shea Whigham portrays Bass Reeves’ “incredibly cruel master,” Col. George Reeves
- Mo Brings Plenty as Minco Dodge, a Choctaw Native American and friend of Bass Reeves Garrett Hedlund as Garrett Montgomery, a guy recruited by Bass Reeves
- Playing Widow Dolliver, Dale Dickey portrays “an old woman who has seen it all”
- Margot Bingham portrays Black Seminole Native American Sara Jumper, while Tosin Morohunfola plays Jackson “Jackrabbit” Cole, a former Union soldier who now serves as Bass’s rider
- Joaquina Kalukango portraying Esme, a former slave
- As Arthur Mayberry, a young child smitten with Bass Reeves’s daughter, Lonnie Chavis plays him. Rob Morgan plays Ramsey, a “once-strong man broken by time”
- One of the two Dolliver outlaws, Ryan O’Nan plays Darrell Dolliver, whom Reeves is tasked with finding
- Justin Hurtt-Dunkley plays Ike, a deputy U.S. marshal
What is the Story of Taylor Sheridan’s Lawmen: Bass Reeves?
The show will chronicle the life of Bass Reeves, a real-life law enforcement officer who rose to prominence as the first Black U.S. Marshal in the American West and is said to have served as the model for The Lone Ranger.

The show will bring the legendary lawman of the Wild West to life. Known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, Reeves served as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory following Reconstruction and apprehended over 3,000 of the most dangerous outlaws without ever suffering a wound.
