Juan and Robyn Relationship
2005: The First Wedding
Juan and Robyn first met in college while playing basketball at the University of Maryland. They got married in July 2005 and had two sons, Corey in 2008 and Carter in 2010.
2012: The Divorce
However, their marriage faced difficulties when Juan had a tough time with his basketball career. He left the NBA in 2009 and played for teams in Europe and Asia. In 2011, he got involved in a steroid scandal. During this period, he had an affair with a woman named Cris Sanchez, whom he met in 2009.
Due to these challenges, Juan and Robyn decided to divorce in March 2012. Despite the separation, they remained friends and continued to co-parent their children.
2016: The RHOP Debut
Juan and Robyn have successfully navigated through their challenges and have rekindled their relationship. They first appeared on The Real Housewives of Potomac in 2016.
She explained,
“Juan and I have a very unconventional relationship. We are divorced, we live together, we raise our kids together, sleep in the same bed together.”
2019: The Second Proposal
In the Season 5 finale of the show in 2019, Juan proposed to Robyn for the second time.
On December 13, 2019, Robyn shared a post of their special moment, “Sweeter the second time around! Thank you to everyone who loved, supported, rooted and prayed for Juan and I. We truly appreciate all of the love and congratulatory wishes as we embark on #DixonsPartDeux.”
2022: The Second Wedding
Juan and Robyn got married again on August 24, 2022, at The Bayfront Club in Edgemere, Maryland, and their wedding was featured on The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 7.
