Following graduation, Kelly started having an enormous influence. She worked for seven years as a physical therapist and the coordinator of clinical education at the Military Advanced Training Center at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and then later at the Walter Reed National Medical Center.
Kelly got married to Chris Roseberry in 2017 after they first met in 2015 at Walter Reed National Medical Center. In 2017, Kelly began working at the Travis Mills Foundation as the director of programs.
Her involvement in several veteran-focused NGOs adapted sports and personal and professional experiences all contributed to the growth of the Travis Mills Foundation. After 21 years of service, her husband Chris retired as a First Sergeant from the US Army.
Kelly also taught adjunct courses in physical therapy and occupational therapy at Shenandoah University, the University of New England and the University of Southern Maine. She worked as a volunteer at the Veterans Administration Hospital as a PT/Amputee Specialist.
