We are deeply saddened to inform you that on Sunday, October 29, 2023, an 11-year-old bright and lively soul “Sienna Reyes” passed away. Her family, friends and the community as a whole are devastated by her untimely demise.
Was Sienna Reyes’ Cause of Death Revealed?
Sienna Reyes’ death sent shockwaves through the community, particularly the “Plainedge Bobcat Youth Cheer League” where she was an active participant. The sadness surrounding her loss is heightened by the fact that the cause of her death has not been made public.
Her family, friends and everyone who knew her are extremely saddened by her passing. Friends, relatives and other cheerleaders have been pouring their tributes, expressing their love and admiration for the little girl.
Plainedge Youth Lacrosse posted on their official Facebook account, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the Reyes Family. May sweet Sienna rest easy now and forever.”
One social media user requested people to put red and purple ribbons outside their homes. Red for a “red out” at school and purple for Sienna’s favorite color.

Why Was Sienna Reyes Famous?
Sienna Reyes was born on June 2, 2012. She was well-known for her vibrant personality, contagious energy and skill as a cheerleader. She was a joy and an inspiration to everyone around her, even at the young age of 11.
Sienna started playing Plainedge Softball at a young age. When she took the field for the first time as a 6U player, she knew she had discovered her calling. Throughout her tenure with the team, Sienna showed commitment, diligence and a great sense of togetherness.
She never wavered in her devotion to the Plainedge Softball team and she always took her duty as a cheerleader seriously. Not only does she have incredible cheering skills, but her brains and quick wit have also left people in awe.
Her academic success has been facilitated by her curiosity, which has also gained her the respect of her teachers, who frequently use her as an example for younger students. Participating in team events outside of the classroom demonstrated Sienna’s positive attitude and unwavering commitment to her school’s cheerleading squad.
Her teammates and coaches are quick to praise her for her remarkable qualities in teamwork and for encouraging and supporting her colleagues. On the field, Sienna had a contagious smile that frequently made people smile too, fostering a positive environment that assisted the team as a whole in achieving its goals.
