Although Matthew Perry was well-known for his connection with the Friends group both on and off screen, the actor never had children or got married in real life. On the other hand, he was involved in several romances in the 1990s and 2000s.
Perry dated Julia Roberts for a brief period of time in 1995 before ending their relationship in 1996. After that, the actor dated Neve Campbell in 1998 and Yasmine Bleeth in 1996. But none of these partnerships endured very long.
Additionally, Matthew dated Rachel Dunn for two years in 2003 and also dated Maeve Quinlan from 2002 to 2003. His longest relationship was with American actress Lizzy Caplan. The couple split up in 2012, having first started dating in 2006.
After that, Perry fell in love with Molly Hurwitz, a literary manager and the two even got engaged in 2020. When the 29-year-old and 51-year-old Matthew Perry began dating, the couple made headlines. They did, however, break up a few months into their engagement.
