A Look at Alison Maloni’s Impact on Journalism
Born on June 29, 1976, Alison Maloni attended West Springfield High School before growing up in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1998, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
In June of the same year, she started working as a TV reporter and producer at WGGB Massachusetts right out of college. She faced numerous important stories there, covering them live and producing new ones till her final one in May 2002.
After that, Maloni relocated to Rhode Island in search of a fresh experience and a special opportunity at WPRI-TV. She oversaw a wide range of journalistic operations including anchoring, live reporting and interviewing.
However, after spending a few years learning the ins and outs of how the media worked, Maloni established her own firm and is currently the CEO of Alison May Public Relations, a marketing and business endorsement firm.
Apart from her background in journalism, Maloni has a wealth of experience in copywriting, account management, event and ad campaign planning, social media management and public relations.
Alison is an acclaimed keynote speaker. Being a natural storyteller in front of the camera, Alison has conducted hundreds of interviews with people ranging from famous experts to politicians.
In front of the camera, she has secured coverage for her customers in publications including Fox News, Forbes, Inc., The Today Show, Newsmax and Entrepreneur Magazine.
