In Season 3 of TLC’s 90 Day Fiancé, Loren and Alexei Brovarnik became favorites with the audience. Both, 31 years old, met when Loren was on a Birthright tour to Israel. Loren is originally from New York and is now living in Florida with Alexei. Alexei, who was the medic in her tour group, and Loren hit it off and fell in love.
Alexei and Loren didn’t have many big arguments in their relationship. But when Loren revealed on the show that she has Tourette’s syndrome, things got a bit tense between them. She shared this information after facing harassment from viewers about her symptoms.
Loren Brovarnik Struggle With Tourette’s Syndrome
Loren Brovarnik, from the TV show 90 Day Fiancé, got really emotional when she was talking about going through postpartum depression again. She and her husband, Alexei, welcomed their third baby in September 2022.
Loren is a mom who stays at home, and she’s been dealing with Tourette’s syndrome since she was a kid. Along with discussing postpartum depression, Loren has been really upfront about her challenges.
She first shared her feelings when her second baby, born in August 2021, had to stay in the NICU for a few days after being born.
Loren and Alexei Brovarnik’s New Baby Boy Was Born Healthy and Adorable
Not long ago, the Brovarniks brought their new baby home. They named him Shai, which means “gift” in Hebrew. He was born a bit earlier than expected, on April 14 instead of the anticipated May.
According to In Touch Weekly, he recently turned one month old. Loren and Alexei’s cute new baby boy has filled Instagram with pictures, making them really happy.
Still, Loren and Alexei, like many other 90-Day Fiancé stars, have faced online bullying, including comments about their sweet baby boy. The Blast reported that Loren shared a mean and heartless message she got from a viewer on her Instagram stories.
Loren Brovarnik’s Concerns About Tourette’s Syndrome During Pregnancy
Alexei went with Loren to the doctor to check on their baby’s health and have an ultrasound. The doctor said their baby is doing well, in the 43rd percentile, and growing normally.
When Loren was 20 weeks pregnant, the couple was worried about test results. Luckily, their doctor gave them good news. All the tests for the baby’s brain, Down syndrome, and chromosomes came back normal.
Loren also brought up her diagnosis of Tourette’s. “So, you know I have Tourette’s syndrome,” she ventured anxiously. “Is there a way to find out now? Is there genetic testing?” she wanted to know.
The doctor said she couldn’t find out if her baby might have Tourette’s during pregnancy. She learned there’s no genetic test for Tourette’s. The first signs usually show up between ages three and nine.

Alexei Brovarnik and Loren Brovarnik’s Positive Outlook
Even though Loren was worried before and felt self-conscious about Tourette’s syndrome, now she seems calmer and more sure about her baby’s future. She says, “Let’s wait and see.”
Alexei also seemed more relaxed about the topic compared to earlier appearances on the show. He said, “We’re not going to stress about it too much.”
