In 2021, a New York City-based model was being criticized for her “pretty privilege” over a TikTok showing how many free things she can get in a day.
Liz Seibert (@lizseibert) posts a lot of videos about her life as a model, from the time she got her Wilhelmina deal to the times she wasn’t chosen for fashion shows. She shared a video on May 19 about all the free stuff she got in one day, mostly with the help of an app called Beauty Pass.

The Beauty Pass site is like LinkedIn, but it’s for companies and models. If a model is accepted into the app, they get special benefits in exchange for promoting the brands’ goods. Seibert got an acai bowl worth $15, two salads worth $30 and two cookies worth almost $9 all for free through the app.
They also gave her two free Krispy Kreme donuts to start the day as a reward for getting vaccinations. Not only did Seibert talk about food but she also showed off her free gym membership as an influencer and got into a comedy show for free.
It was said that Seibert got free stuff worth $157.89 in less than 24 hours. More than 2 million people watched the video. People who commented didn’t seem to agree on where to direct their anger.
