The premiere date was originally announced in September by Adult Swim, coupled with a mysterious message on the first season poster that stated, “We ride together. When we both pass away, we will be together. We shared the same garden grave.

The show’s 10 new episodes continue to set new standards for humor and animation thanks to the hard work of the whole cast and crew. What is Rick and Morty Season 7 About?
The premise and characters of Season 7 on Adult Swim have been kept under wraps. The network did give fans a sneak peek at the next season by issuing a cheeky press statement, though, in true Rick and Morty fashion: Now more than ever, Rick and Morty sound like themselves. Now in its seventh season, fans have a lot of time to wonder: What’s up with Jerry? RUTHFUL Summer?! Will they ever return to their alma mater?! Who knows? Let’s find out, though. There is certainly less poop this season compared to last. A century of ‘Rick and Morty’! At least for the next ten episodes!”
Nothing is etched in stone, but it appears that Rick’s search for Rick Prime will be the main plot of Season 7 of Rick and Morty. Just recently, Adult Swim confirmed the release date and posted a teaser titled Rick v. Rick Prime, which hints at this plot.
It should be made clear that Rick Prime is not the same as Evil Rick from Season 1, who was revealed to be under Evil Morty’s influence. Another version of Rick named Rick Prime is to blame for the death of Rick’s wife and daughter.
