Tony Buehler is an American pitcher in Major League Baseball who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He played college baseball for the Vanderbilt Commodores and was on their team that won the College World Series in 2014.

Which Surgeries Did Walker Buehler Undergo in His Career?
While still in the draft in 2015, Buehler had his first Tommy John surgery. He had his second Tommy John surgery in his career in August of last year. Walker Buehler, a right-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers will not be in the big leagues this season. He said in a statement:
“My goal since last year has been to return to a Major League mound this season, After many conversations with my doctor, the Dodgers’ front office training staff and my family, we concluded that waiting until next season is the right course of action.”
“I am disappointed that I will not be able to help this team go after a title in the 2023 postseason, but I look forward to returning fully healthy in 2024 and bringing another World Series to L.A.”

Walker Buehler, a right-handed pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers made a big step toward his return from Tommy John surgery. The Oklahoma City Dodgers sent Buehler to Triple-A to get better. In two perfect innings, he struck out two batters.
It was his first rehab game in the lower leagues. He also no longer puts his hands over his head when he throws. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Buehler would play in at least three minor league games to get better.
On September 26, 2023, he shared a post on Instagram in which he opened up about why he decided not to return this season after rehabbing from Tommy John Surgery.
