Bryce Young Injury Update

There are few things more thrilling for sports fans than witnessing the arrival of a promising rookie. In the beginning, there is nothing but promise; one of your players could go on to become the league’s most valuable player. But for the time being, Panthers fans should take it easy. Their rookie quarterback, Bryce Young, is out with an ankle injury at the moment.

Why is the signal sender so affected? When can we anticipate his return, and why is it so crucial? Let’s get down to brass tacks.

Bryce Young’s Injury

However, in Young’s instance, not even the team knows for certain when the injury occurred. As Carolina’s head coach Frank Reich put it, “no clarity of when or how,” according to reports. Bryce, to his credit, just went with the flow of his competitive spirit and his adrenaline. Everyone here has undoubtedly experienced a sprained ankle, if not many sprains, at some point in their playing careers. Bryce Young, the team’s first overall pick, suffered an ankle injury in Monday night’s loss to New Orleans.

Take a look at the below tweet about Bryce Young Injury:

Due to the short week, the Carolina Panthers held a walkthrough on Wednesday, but Young sat it out with an ankle injury. Reich told the media that he doesn’t know Young’s status for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks since he doesn’t know when the injury occurred. On Thursday, the club will have more information to work with.

When is Young Going to Get Back?

Everyone’s body is diverse and heals at a different rate, so even under ideal conditions, it can be difficult to place an exact date on an injury. Predicting the outcome of an ankle injury is very challenging. After all, even a minor ache might be problematic when trying to escape a pass rusher. But Reich did give some explanations for what was going on with his quarterback’s ankle.

They estimate a timeframe of 1-2 weeks. When questioned about a possible recuperation timeline, the head coach said, “Doctors are saying one to two weeks.” I’m pleased with Bryce’s performance this week. He seems to be making progress, so I have faith that he will return as soon as possible. And when he returns and is given the all-clear, he’s our man and he’s all set to go.

We already know that the quarterback won’t be able to make the journey to Seattle on November 3. If he misses one week of action, he’ll be back on the field for the Lions game in Detroit on October 8, and if he misses two weeks, he’ll face the Vikings in Minnesota on October 1.

The Panthers will be Starting Andy Dalton at Quarterback

Bryce Young

The Panthers are ready to roll without Young at quarterback. This is a scary thought for any NFL team. Second-string quarterback Andy Dalton will direct the offense on Sunday.

The veteran played his whole NFL career for the Cincinnati Bengals and started 162 games. He definitely won’t impress people, but he’s demonstrated he can keep things running smoothly and prevent catastrophes. The quarterback had a 6-8 record, 2,871 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions in 2022 with the Saints. Dalton’s current coach also gave him a thumbs-up on Friday.

Reich reportedly replied, “This guy is practicing at a high level,” according to the Panthers’ website. “The way he’s throwing the football, going through his progressions, and running the show…From the moment he walked through the door, I said to myself, “This guy is starter-worthy.”

I’ve been saying it, and you people know it. In my book, he ranks right up there with the top 32 quarterbacks in the entire world. I’m relieved to know we have him during times like these. He’s had a fantastic week of training. I’m excited to see him perform.
