Is Zack Moss Related to Randy Moss?
While Zack Moss and Randy Moss’s surname “Moss” sounds familiar, but they are not related to each other. The parents of Zack Moss are Anthony and Cassandra and the parents of Randy are Maxine and Randy Pratt.
Moss does, however have cousins who played football. Santana and Sinorice were first cousins and both played wide receiver. Santana made the All-Pro team and the Pro Bowl in his first season at Washington, and Sinorice won a Super Bowl with the New York Giants.
In the 2010s, Patrick Peterson another cousin was one of the best defensive players for the Arizona Cardinals. He now plays cornerback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Why is Zack Moss Famous?
Zack Moss is an American football player who plays as a running back for the Indianapolis National Football League (NFL). He went to high school in his home state of Florida, where he played with current Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley.
Before graduating, he decided to go to Utah, where he started three of ten games as a freshman and ran for 382 yards and a score on two carries. He really came on in his second year, when he hit for 1,173 yards and ten scores.

After hurting his knee in his junior year and missing the whole season, he had a monster season as a senior. The Pac-12 named him Offensive Player of the Year after he ran for 1,416 yards and 15 scores.
He also led the Utes to the conference title game and the Alamo Bowl. The Buffalo Bills picked Moss 86th overall in the 2020 draft.
Together with Devin Singletary, he helped the team win its first division title since Jim Kelly’s time as coach. They would make it to the AFC Championship Game, but the Kansas City Chiefs would beat them.
He was moved to the Indianapolis Colts in the middle of 2022 for Nyheim Hines. While Jonathan Taylor was out, he took over as the starter and has kept that role while Taylor is on holdout.
How Did Randy Moss Get Fame?
Randy Gene Moss is an American former professional football wide receiver who was born February 13, 1977. He played for 14 seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, the Oakland Raiders, the New England Patriots, the Tennessee Titans and the San Francisco 49ers.
He holds the NFL record for most touchdowns in a single season and the record for most touchdowns in a starting season. Moss is second all-time in career touchdown receptions and fourth all-time in career receiving yards.
As a college football player for Marshall University, Moss was named an All-American. Six times he was named to the Pro Bowl and four times to the first team of All-Pro, Moss was picked by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 1998 NFL Draft.

As a rookie, he set the record for most touchdowns received in a season and was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year. Moss had a big career comeback when he was moved to the New England Patriots in 2007.
He helped the Patriots win 16 games in a row, which was a record at the time. In 1998 and 2007, Moss led the two highest-scoring teams in NFL history at the time which are now ranked sixth and second all-time, respectively.
He is a member of the NFL 2000s All-Decade Team and the NFL 100th Anniversary All-Time Team. He was admitted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
