The couple was quite interested in keeping the ceremony’s specifics a secret. Scarborough chose a classic black suit and black tie, while Brzezinski wore a stark white, tea-length Milly dress with delicate, polka-dotted lace sleeves designed by designer Michelle Smith.

Brzezinski, the daughter of Swiss-born sculptor Emilie Anna Beneová and former national security adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski, who is of Polish descent was born in New York City. Her mother, who is of Czech ancestry, is Edvard Bene’s grandniece from Czechoslovakia.
When she was born, her father was a professor at Columbia University. In late 1976, when newly elected President Jimmy Carter selected Zbigniew National Security Advisor, the family relocated to McLean, Virginia, close to Washington, D.C.
American diplomat Mark Brzezinski, who is her brother served as Sweden’s ambassador from 2011 to 2015 and as Poland’s ambassador starting in 2022. Ian Brzezinski, a military expert is her second brother. She is a first cousin of Matthew Brzezinski, a writer.
Brzezinski earned with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1989 from Williams College after attending the Madeira School and Georgetown University for two years.
