The world’s attention was riveted on San Pedro Sula, Honduras, on Thursday, June 22, after a tragic occurrence. The widow of drug dealer Magdaleno Meza, Erika Julissa Bandy, was brutally murdered at a bakery, as seen on security footage.
The video shows what happened and when it happened. After hearing gunshots outside, where her two bodyguards were being slain, Bandy is first seen inside the bakery, evidently attempting to flee. A man with a balaclava and DPI (Police Investigation Directorate) gear walks into the room. Bandy tries to take cover behind another woman, but her attacker shoots her in the face at point-blank range.

Bandy slams to the ground and appears to embrace the woman, who has also fallen but is uninjured. Bandy collapses onto the ground seconds later, and her killer shoots her twice more in the head, killing her instantly.
Customers inside the bakery are terrified and flummoxed, not knowing what to do as the crisis escalates and more armed people enter the building.
