On August 4, 2020, the 26-year-old artist was shot and killed outside the retail store in Chicago’s Gold Coast neighborhood.

Four people got out of two cars at 16:30 local time and shot the rapper, whose real name is Carlton Weekly. Below we shared a tweet in which you can see the vehicles that were used in his murder.

After the shooting, they ran away. At least sixteen shots were fired at the rapper and several of them hit his chest, stomach and back. Some shots also hit his right hand and right eye. This shows that the attack was very violent. Two other people with Weekly were also shot and taken to the hospital for care.
Who Was Arrested Related to FBG Duck’s Death?
Five men who are thought to be members of a street gang have been charged with killing Chicago rapper FBG Duck.
Charles Liggins also known as “C Murda”, Kenneth Roberson also known as “Kenny” and “Kenny Mac”, Tacarlos Offerd also known as “Los” Christopher, Thomas also known as “C Thang” and Marcus Smart also known as “Muwop” are all charged with murder in aid of racketeering, federal firearm violations and assaults in aid of racketeering.

It is not yet confirmed why the killing happened. However, some people think that FBG Duck’s death was linked to gangs because he was a member of a Chicago-based gang. Some rumors also say that the killing happened because two rival gangs have been fighting for control of certain parts of the city for a long time.
