What is the Age of Mary Lou Retton?
On January 24, 1968, Mary Lou Retton was born in Fairmont, West Virginia and now she is 55 years old. Her father, Ronnie, founded a company that sold equipment for the transportation of coal. Despite attending Fairmont Senior High School, she never received her diploma.
She participated in the Olympics in 1984 as a sophomore in high school in Los Angeles, California. Retton resided in Houston, Texas, until her family moved back to West Virginia in 2009. In 2012, she relocated back to Houston.
Shannon Kelley, a current employee of the sports department at Houston Baptist University and a former quarterback for the University of Texas, was her ex-husband.
Shayla, McKenna, a former NCAA gymnast at Louisiana State University, Skyla and Emma are their four daughters together. In February 2018, Retton and her spouse separated.
