According to the Jury reports, Vanessa was given $15 million in federal court (it was supposed to be $16 million, but the jury found a mistake), but that wasn’t the end of L.A. County’s liability. In a statement, Vanessa’s lawyer, Luis Li said he hoped that their win would stop other lawsuits like this one. He said, “Mrs. Bryant’s brave battle has come to a successful end today.”
