Mario Lopez, you know, the guy from ‘Saved By The Bell,’ has been famous for a long time in Hollywood. In 2023, he’s got some cool plans, and one of them is to stay in good shape and healthy.
Back when he was a heartthrob in the 90s, he had some serious illness when he was a child. But now, he is resorting to exercise to stay healthy. In this article, we’ll check out his life experiences, the tough stuff he’s faced, and the things he does to stay healthy.
Mario Lopez’s Health Issue
Mario Lopez had a rare illness since he was a baby. His stomach didn’t fully develop because of this condition.
This made him lose almost half of his birth weight, and he couldn’t eat properly. It was so serious that his father even thought he might not survive and called a priest to give him blessings.
But then, Mario Lopez’s father didn’t give up hope. He took Mario from the hospital and went to a healer in Mexico called a “bruja.”
Mario’s dad believed in this healer because she had helped heal his leg when regular medicine couldn’t. So, Mario grew up with a belief in alternative medicine.
Even though they tried many different medicines, they couldn’t cure Mario or his father. Mario still values the healer he went to as a child and believes she played a big role in his recovery.
