Who Won MasterChef Season 13?
Grant Gillon won MasterChef Season 13. In the final round, he competed against Jennifer Maune and Kennedy Grace. The prize was a trophy, a big $250,000, and a super fancy kitchen from Viking, plus lots of cooking tools from OXO.

During the dessert part of the competition, Grant and Kennedy were really close. But a small mistake by Kennedy gave Grant the edge. Because Grant did so well all along, and he’s a great cook, he ended up winning. The judges loved his three-course meal because it had a wonderful mix of flavours:
- Appetizer: Ravioli al’ Uovo with morelle cream sauce, truffle butter, and shaved truffles.
- Entrée: Pork loin medallions with salmoriglio sauce, agrodolce, celery root purée, and beer-braised fennel and onions.
- Dessert: Torn stout cake with coffee stout mousse, chocolate pizzelle, and coffee ice cream.
Grant winning was a big deal for him. It showed how much he loves cooking. He said thanks to his family for supporting him. Even though Jennifer and Kennedy were tough competitors, Grant always tried to do better than he did before. That’s what helped him win.

What Difficulties Does Grant Faced in MasterChef Season 13?
Grant is a 32-year-old guy from Iowa who sells beer. Even though making desserts wasn’t his best skill, he worked really hard to make his dessert perfect. He knew that to win, every plate had to look exactly the same. When it came to the main course, Grant knew he had to do something special. He made a pork dish using regular ingredients, and he was super proud of it.
Grant believed he had a good chance of winning as he headed into the dessert round. Winning MasterChef meant a lot to him. It was like winning for himself, but also for the Midwest, Iowa, and his hometown of Altoona.
Grant wanted to show that beer can be a great part of fancy meals, even though some people don’t think so. He has plans to open a special restaurant in Altoona, with influences from the Midwest and Italy, and featuring local breweries. It’ll be a unique dining experience from Iowa.
Who Were the Top 3 in MasterChef Season 13?
In MasterChef Season 13, the final three chefs were Jennifer, Grant, and Kennedy. They all did really well throughout the season. Now, in the finale, each of them has to cook a three-course meal. It’s a big challenge!
