The popular K-pop boy band Stray Kids is on the road to recovery following a minor car accident on September 20th. Members Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin sustained “mild muscle pains and bruises” in the incident, but were not seriously injured.
The trio has been advised by medical professionals to “receive conservative treatment for the time being,” so they will not be making an appearance at Milan Fashion Week or performing at the Global Citizen Festival in New York City. Instead, their hip-hop group 3Racha will be performing at the festival.
After the accident, the singers and their crew are thankfully not seriously hurt. But doctors have suggested Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Seungmin take it easy for now, the label explained in a statement in both Korean and English. So, Lee Know and Hyunjin won’t be able to join Milan Fashion Week. And, unfortunately, Seungmin’s birthday stream on Sept. 22 won’t be happening.
This news comes amid a busy time for Stray Kids. The group recently appeared at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards, where they performed their smash hit “S-CLASS” and won the Moon Person for Best K-Pop.
“We’ve been making our music ever since the start of our career,” Bang Chan told the crowd, “but to receive this award just really means a lot to us.”
Felix added, “We want to thank our fans, our STAYs, for being so supportive. Please. We have so much to show you guys, so please look forward to the future.”

Despite this minor setback, Stray Kids remains one of the most popular K-pop groups in the world. With their catchy songs, energetic performances, and close bond with their fans, Stray Kids is sure to continue to achieve great things in the years to come.
