Teo Chee Hean is a well-known Singaporean politician. Since 2001, he has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Pasir Ris West in the Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC. It’s not surprising that his condition has drawn interest from and rumours from fans.

Teo Chee Hean’s health has been the subject of recent rumours. Although there have been worries raised concerning Teo’s health, it is important to make it clear that there is currently no conclusive evidence or information related to his health.
According to a tweet shared by NTU Singapore’s Twitter account on September 1, 2023, it is expected that he is fit and healthy because he is looking fine in it.

The Remarkable Journey of Teo Chee Hean From Naval Officer to Political Leader
Teo Chee Hean was born on 27 December 1954. Before receiving the President’s Scholarship and Singapore Armed Forces Overseas Scholarship in 1973, Teo attended St. Joseph’s Institution for his education.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and management science with first-class honours from the University of Manchester in 1976. Later, in 1977, he graduated from Imperial College London with a Master of Science in computing science with distinction.
As a Littauer Fellow, he also earned a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School in 1986. Between 1972 and 1992, Teo served in the Republic of Singapore Navy where he earned the rank of Rear Admiral (Two-Star).
Before leaving the Navy and entering politics, he held the position of Chief of Navy between 1991 and 1992. He entered politics in 1992 as a member of a four-person PAP team in the Marine Parade GRC by-election.
Between 2009 and 2019, he held the positions of Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for the Environment from 1995 to 1997, Minister for Education from 1997 to 2003, Minister for Defense from 2003 to 2011 and Minister for Home Affairs from 2011 to 2015.
Teo served on the Smart Nation and Digital Government Group’s ministerial committee. In his capacity as Senior Minister, Teo had filled in for Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on a number of occasions. Teo served as the PAP’s First Assistant Secretary-General in the Central Executive Committee until November 2018, when Heng Swee Keat took over.
