In the early 2010s, Polo G’s career took off after he uploaded tracks on SoundCloud, such as “Gang with Me” and “Welcome Back.” But it was his 2019 duet with Lil Tjay on “Pop Out” that propelled him into the mainstream, reaching number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100. His first album, titled “Die a Legend,” debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 after he signed with Columbia Records.
His subsequent album, 2020’s “The Goat,” also produced many hits that charted and reached in the top two on the Billboard 200. When Polo G launched his third studio album, “Hall of Fame,” in 2021, it immediately went to the top of the charts, thanks in large part to the success of the first single, “Rapstar.” He’s still putting out songs and has a new album, “Hood Poet,” coming out in 2023.
