Corey Gauff was born in Delray Beach, Florida, and he attended Georgia State University, where he played collegiate basketball. When he was younger, he dabbled in tennis. Candi Gauff (née Odom) is a native Floridian; she was born to Eddie “Red” Odom and Yvonne Lee Odom in Delray Beach. Her father, Eddie, started the Delray Beach American Little League after playing college football and minor-league baseball.
