What is the Reason Behind Mike Williams’ Death?
Mike Williams was not suffering from any illness. His passing was caused by a tragic construction accident. He reportedly suffered a head injury while working on a construction site when a beam collapsed on him. His spinal cord was ruptured and that produced cerebral swelling.
When he entered the intensive care unit on September 1, 2023, he was bleeding severely and his diaphragm was pressing against his lungs. He was given drugs to induce a coma, but he never came to.
Multiple sources have confirmed to me that former Syracuse and #Bills WR Mike Williams has passed away following injuries suffered during an accident while working at a construction site.
The Buffalo native was 36 years old.
