The third episode of Ahsoka features a brief introduction to Jacen Syndulla; below is information about him. Our review stated, “Ahsoka’s third chapter feels like half an episode; the spacefaring action may be spectacular, but it’s a distraction from the fact that it hasn’t actually done anything. It was all for nought.
The bulk of the episode follows Sabine as she begins her Jedi training, culminating in her battle against Shin Hati and Marrok at the Eye of Sion. In contrast, we also see Hera Syndulla in a brief sequence where she talks with Chancellor Mon Mothma. You can read all the details relating to who is Jacen Syndulla below. It doesn’t end well for her, but it sets us up with Jacen, so here’s the lowdown.
Who is Jacen Syndulla?
Jacen, Hera’s son, made his debut in Star Wars Rebels’ last scene. The youngster, who has vivid green hair, is shown on the Ghost with his mother.
That’s why we have to put in the effort,” Hera explains. All of our current efforts are being made on behalf of the New Republic and not for our own benefit. However, I have a family that depends on me. My son needs me, and I haven’t visited my homeworld in far too long. I’d rather live for the people I care about than the stars for a time.
Jacen initially appears in Ahsoka, coming up to his mother and declaring, “I wanna be a Jedi!” upon learning that Sabine has returned to serve as Ahsoka’s Padawan. Fans have speculated that towards the season’s finale, Jacen will begin his Jedi training, maybe with Ezra Bridger’s help.

Know Details About Jacen Syndulla Dad
Hera and Jedi Knight Kanan Jarrus had a son named Jacen. Before their s*xual relationship blossomed, he was Hera’s second in command. After saving Hera, Jarrus sacrificed himself on Lothal so that the other rebels could get away. His son was born after he died, and Hera raised him alone.

The fact that Jacen appears to be wearing the same shoulder armor as his father, Kanan, is a heartbreaking reference to Kanan in Ahsoka, as fans have remarked.
As a Jedi, Jacen Syndulla Might be Doomed
His name was borrowed from the Legends EU character Jacen Solo, the fictional offspring of Han Solo and Leia Organa. It seems, in a very modest sense, naming him Jacen was a way to respect the expanded universe figure of Jacen Solo who just basically isn’t there anymore since the timelines have changed,” Dave Filoni told Gizmodo after his introduction in the Star Wars Rebels epilogue. That’s a nod to the people who realize how significant that character is to me. And perhaps that spirit survives in this individual. I haven’t decided yet.
Jacen Solo, or Darth Caedus, as he is most well known, is a pseudonym. When he and his twin sister Jaina were young adults, Luke Skywalker instructed them in the ways of the Force. In the years that followed, despite his best efforts to return to the light, he rose to the position of Sith master after being imprisoned during the Yuuzhan Vong War and momentarily succumbing to the dark side.
In the canon chronology, Luke tried to revive the Jedi Order on the planet Ossus, where he taught a number of students, including Ben Solo, who, out of anger at his uncle, destroyed the temple and killed everyone inside. It’s possible that Jacen will wind up like those other students, which would be disastrous for his future. To know more details you can join us on our Twitter account.
