“My wish, my selfish wish, is that I can do this job until they don’t want me anymore, until I don’t want to. I don’t want to get to a point where I can’t remember lines anymore. Or I can’t do the job. I want to stay healthy enough and well enough, even 10 more years or 20 more years. To stay there, that’s my wish for me, personally.”
So it should come as no surprise that Eric has every intention of continuing to appear on “The Bold and the Beautiful” for as long as he is both physically and psychologically capable of doing so.
There is no indication that Eric will be leaving the show based on the present plotline, which centres on a struggle between a father and son and is written creatively. Fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” can have peace of mind knowing that Eric Forrester will continue to appear on the show for the foreseeable future.
As long as he is able and willing to continue contributing to the plot of The Bold and the Beautiful viewers will be able to look forward to seeing his presence on the screen for as long as the show is still running.

The story of Eric Forrester in “The Bold and the Beautiful” is a decade-long tapestry of love, family complexities, professional challenges and personal development.
Eric, one of the main characters in the program, founded the famed Los Angeles design firm Forrester Creations with his wife Stephanie. They have five children Ridge, Thorne, Kristen, Felicia and Angela together. Eric serves as the chief designer of their growing fashion enterprise.

When Stephanie is replaced by Beth Logan, however, their relationship is put to the test even further, leading to a savage rivalry between the two women. When Eric discovers that Stephanie has concealed Angela, his 24-year-old daughter, because of her severe disabilities, from him the drama is heightened.
Stephanie had kept her hidden. The actual Angela had passed away years earlier and Stephanie had taken care of a fake Angela in her place. When Eric starts seeing Brooke Logan, his love life changes, and Stephanie finally files for divorce as a result.
He marries Brooke, and they have a son named Rick. But while Brooke’s romance with Ridge reappears, Eric’s love life continues to be complicated. Massimo Marone’s biological father is shockingly revealed to be Ridge, leading to conflict between Eric and Ridge. Eric still favors Ridge over his other kids in spite of this realization.
With Stephanie, Brooke, and Donna Logan, Eric has been married, divorced, and reconciled during his turbulent love life. His interactions with these women are crucial to the drama and storylines of the show. Particularly after Stephanie’s death, Eric’s character changes significantly.
