Who Are VMA Performers 2023?

MTV has unveiled the initial lineup of 2023 Video Music Awards performers. The Prudential Center in Newark will play host to a concert including Demi Lovato, Karol G, Mneskin, and the Korean pop band Stray Kids. On Tuesday, September 12 at 8 p.m. Eastern, the Video Music Awards will begin.

With the release of Revamped on September 15th, Lovato will be nominated for two prizes at the 2023 Video Music prizes: Best Pop and Video for Good for “Swine.” Karol G released Maana Será Bonito (Bichota Season) earlier this month. She received Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration, and Best Latin nominations at the 2023 Video Music Awards for her track “TQG.”

Lovato and  Karol G will perform in VMA 2023:

At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards, Mneskin sang “Supermodel” by Rush!. The Italian band has a Best Rock nomination for “The Loneliest.”

The MTV Video Music Awards will feature the first-ever performances by Stray Kids, a boy band from South Korea, and Karol G, a superstar from Colombia. The event will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and will be broadcast live on Tuesday, September 12, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Here is a tweet about Stray Kids performance in VMA on Sept. 12:

The Italian rock band Mneskin will be performing for the second consecutive year. Demi Lovato, a veteran of the American music scene, is making her first appearance on the VMA stage in six years.

Lovato will debut at the VMAs in six years on September 12, just days before the release of her rock covers album Revamped. When Lovato was nominated for a VMA in 2012, she sang “Give Your Heart a Break” during the pre-show. She first performed on the main stage in 2015 with “Cool for the Summer” and then again in 2017 with “Sorry Not Sorry.”

Previously awarded best video with a message in 2012 for “Skyscraper,” the singer is up for best pop and video for good for “Swine.” Lovato has been nominated for a Video Music Award a whopping 14 times!

Taylor Swift has the most nominations this year with eight, followed by SZA with six, Doja Cat with five, Kim Petras with four, Miley Cyrus with three, Nicki Minaj with two, Olivia Rodrigo with three, Sam Smith with two, BLACKPINK with three, Diddy with two, and Shakira with two.
