Stephen A. Smith has two children as of 2023 but no wife. Smith disclosed in December 2019 that he had two daughters, aged 10 and 11. The names of his girls have never been made public.
He also disclosed that he was once engaged. But the journalist hasn’t even mentioned the name of the woman. The unidentified woman has never again been mentioned in the media. On his podcast, Stephen A. said he would like to be married.

Smith said:
“I hope to walk down that aisle, I hope to be standing there on the altar and wait for my beautiful bride to come sauntering down the aisle. I want to see that.”
In addition, Smith said he would prioritize the honeymoon over the wedding more than the actual cost of the wedding.
Stephen A. keeps himself busy by hosting “Stephen A’s World”, co-hosting ESPN’s First Take with Molly Qerim and appearing frequently as an NBA commentator on SportsCenter and NBA Countdown. The 55-year-old regarded as ESPN’s brightest star has recently started worrying about his employment prospects.
Smith remarked on his podcast in June in response to a question regarding ESPN’s decision to fire 20 media figures to save millions of dollars over the ensuing months: “If we’re going to be serious about it, let’s deal with reality.” In 2021, Stephen A. agreed to a $60 million, five-year contract extension.
