Arnold, who was well-known for his stand-up comedy, sitcom writing, producing and acting was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 15, 1968.

He has been on numerous stations since entering the public eye more than 20 years ago, including Comedy Central and BET. It was revealed that he passed away on September 7, 2022, at the age of 54.

How did David Arnold Die?

In a statement, Arnold’s family released his cause of death. He passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. The statement reads:

“It is with great sadness that we confirm the untimely passing of our husband, father, brother and friend, David A. Arnold. He passed away peacefully today in his home and doctors have ruled the cause of death due to natural causes. Please keep our family in prayer and respect our privacy at this time as we are all shocked and devastated by this loss.”

After David’s death, people shared their thoughts and paid tribute to him. Marlon Wayans shared a special message to him as a tribute by sharing a post (provided below).

One user tweeted, “Sad to learn about the death of David Arnold. I’be planning to see him live and to wake up to this news.”

Anne Halford said, “I’m so sad that David Arnold died man. He was one of my favorite comedians.”

Craig Shoemaker wrote, “David Arnold was 1 of the cool unicorns. Shocked, saddened, heartbroken by his sudden death. RIP brother.”

Another person wrote, “Comedian David Arnold’s death hurt me so bad.”

Arnold was a stand-up comedian who became famous due to his outlook on fatherhood. In 2019 with the Kevin Hart-produced “It Ain’t for the Weak,” which was released in July, he starred in two Netflix comedy specials, “Fat Ballerina” and “It.” In late April, he also participated in the Netflix is a Joke comedy festival.

Arnold has completed three performances of his four-month comedy tour called “Pace Ya Self.” Additionally, he contributed to the episodes of “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” “The Ricky Smiley Show” and “Meet the Browns.”
