Intoxicated Sophia Nicole Rosing, a student at the University of Kentucky, was caught on tape directing racial slurs at another student. During his assault on Kylah Spring, a student worker at the front desk of the Boyd Hall dorm complex, Rosing allegedly used the n-word over two hundred times. A video from Spring provides context:
The girl was intoxicated and teetering dangerously; our main concern now is to urge her to sit down. Do my duties, it’s not my fault you’re Black, it’s not my fault you’re ugly, you’re fucking ugly and black, are just some of the things she kept yelling.
