Paul Matthew Thompson, who also wrote the screenplay for the police drama Vera and Jonathan Fisher are the creators and writers of the British police procedural program Ridley. The producer of the series are Juliet Charlesworth, Adrian Dunbar, an associate producer, and Mike Noble, a line producer.
Will Ridley Season 2 be Released?
In the detective series, which had its ITV debut in 2022 Dunbar played retired Detective Inspector Alex Ridley who tragically lost his wife and children in an arson attack on the family home. The jazz singer/retired detective Alex Ridley in the series played by Adrian Dunbar was a smash for the British broadcaster.
The four episodes of the series had an average audience of 6.3 million viewers, making it ITV’s fourth-largest new drama premiere that year. As of yet, Ridley season 2 release date is not confirmed. When we get any confirmation we will share it with you. But we can expect that the series sequel will be available to watch soon.

Who will Appear as Cast in Ridley Season 2?
Season 1 ends with Ridley finally admitting he needs counseling for the deaths of his wife and daughter, while Farman and her wife welcome a new child. There is no official summary for Season 2 yet. The two will take on four new feature-length cases once they are back in collaboration.
It is estimated that Adrian Dunbar will reprise his role as Alex Ridley with Bronagh Waugh in DI Carol Farman. George Bukhari as DC Darren Lakhan, Georgie Glen as Dr. Wendy Newstone and Terence Maynard as DCI Paul Goodwin are among the other members of the core cast who are anticipated to make a comeback.
Annie Marling, Ridley’s potential love interest will probably return, as will Carol’s wife Geri Farman and their son Jack Farman, played by Tareq Al-Jeddal and Bhavna Limbachia, respectively. Steve Holness, Sophie Alloway and Rory Dempsey, the house band, will almost certainly return to perform whenever Dunbar begins to sing.
