The arrival of LL Cool J’s much-awaited new album is expected to cause a stir in the music business. It appears that LL COOL J has been working on a new album in the studio. The announcement was made on Twitter by the founding member of ROCK THE BELLS, who has released 13 studio albums.

The famous “Q-Tip” of Tribe Called Quest produced the entire album, which will be his 14th studio release and will be released in 2023. The exact release date is not yet revealed.

Fans can anticipate a fusion of LL Cool J’s particular style and Q-Tip’s distinctive production in this highly anticipated collaboration between two iconic performers. Fans should be aware that LL Cool J has released a preview of the album “The Force” on “Rock The Bells Radio” on Thursday (May 4).

The song “The Force” samples the song “End of Time” by Tip from 1999’s Amplified album and credits the late, great Michael Jackson as a co-writer. LL Cool J wrote on Twitter, “This album is my contribution to the culture. watch it unfold.”

The song and LL’s impending arena tour with The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip have the same name. Although “The Force” has not yet been made available on streaming services, the following minute-long excerpt can be heard in a video.

The choice of LL Cool J’s latest album’s executive producer was ultimately made by the universe. In a recent appearance on the iHeartRadio program Way Up With Angela Yee, the legendary Queens-born rapper said that Dr. Dre was first chosen to manage the album before choosing Q-Tip instead.

LL explained:

“So, the real story is that I did about 30 to 40 songs with Dr. Dre and in doing those songs I felt like — the music was amazing what Dre was bringing to the table was super dope — but I felt like the writing, what I was bringing to these songs didn’t feel strong enough to me.”

He continued:

“I didn’t feel like I was expressing, I was getting out of me, what I was feeling. In my mind, I didn’t feel like it was written properly.”
